At BFEC we offer a lesson program that is tailor made. We currently
have beginning and advanced students, both youngsters and adults
alike. Our lessons are structured around what you would like to obtain
or achieve with horses. Whether you would like to start showing, learn
a certain discipline or maybe just get into trail or arena riding, we are
here to help make your dreams come true. We use only our best and
well trained horses in our lessons. Our lesson horses are also
schooled daily and given the utmost of care. You can relax in knowing
that we would not allow a student to ride a horse that we would not put
our own children on!!
Our lesson program has been formatted to allow the rider to take part
in all aspects of horse care and riding. You will learn basic safety and
ground skills including grooming and caring for the horse. Then you
will progress to mounted skills and be introduced to basic riding skills.
As students progress, you will take part in a variety of obstacles in the
arena, trail riding and games on horseback.
All participants, regardless of your goals will learn the basic steps in
horsemanship, building confidence in themselves and their horses.

SEI Certified riding helmet
Hard shoe or boot with slight heel
Long jeans or breeches
Our lesson prices are as follows:
Age group 7 and up
1 hour group lesson (2 or more students) $15
1 Hour private lesson $25
Age group 6 and under
30 minute group lesson $15
30 minute private lesson $25
All lessons that are paid for monthly in advance will receive a $5
discount.
